NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE SOURCE - VIASALA INC.

The Federal Aviation Administration Logistics Center (FAALC) intends to award a single source contract to Visalia Inc. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes to acquire, under single source to procure PC-RVR Visibility Sensors Bare Mechanics PN FSM102SUB In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA.

This procurement is considered to be single-sourced based on CPI proprietary data for this equipment. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Vaisala Inc. and is not available for full and open competition.
