Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - Beckman Culture Cost Per Reportable Results (Supply)

The Fort Cavazos Health Contracting Cell, Medical Readiness Contracting Office- West (MRCO-West), Army Health Contracting Activity, MEDCOM, Fort Cavazos Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, sole source contract to Beckman Coulter Inc., an other than small business, under authority 41 U.S.C. 1901, IAW Regulation 13.501(a)(1)(ii), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized.

This is for the non-personal supply for Cost Per Reportable Results (CPRR) using the Beckman Coulter Inc. Urinary Analyzers, supplies and reagents for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Cavazos, TX 76544. Award will be on or about 9 September 2024. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 325413, “In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing”. The Small Business Size Standard is 1,250 Personnel. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes.

No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
