CLOSING DATE: 30 August 2024 The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking potential contractors to provide on-site Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze (NAB) casting weld repair services located in Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) in Philadelphia, PA. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310 – Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance.

A Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to this sources sought to assist contractors in understanding NSWCCD’s weld repair requirements. A Solicitation date has not yet been determined. Responses to this sources sought will be used by NSWCCD as market research and for acquisition planning purposes only. If a Solicitation is issued, it will be posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE) https://sam.gov. All interested parties should respond to the Solicitation separately from this announcement.

It is the responsibility of the interested offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. RESPONSES ARE DUE via e-mail to arnel.a.ngo.civ@us.navy.mil by 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on 30 August, 2024. The page limit is 10 pages; however, laboratory reports and certification documents do not count towards the 10 page limitation. Responses shall include the following:

Company name, website, and physical address, Point of contact, phone number, and E-mail address, Cage number (if applicable) and DUNS number. Company size e.g. small business, large business, or small disadvantaged business Company capability statement. This statement should include at a minimum the following:

Experience providing NAB weld repair to the Maritime industry, provide examples. Experience providing NAB weld repair to the U.S. Navy and foreign Navies; provide examples.
