Notice of Intent to Sole Source to Dynalec Corporation - Intercommunication Stations

In accordance with FAR 5.2, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Dynalec Corporation to acquire five (5) Intercommunication Stations.

The USCG, C5I Service Center, intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) to Dynalec Corporation, 87 West Main Street, PO Box 188, Sodus, NY 14551. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Dynalec Corporation is the source capable of providing the required Intercommunication Station.

The equipment being purchased is used to support Shipboard Alarm & Announcing System on various cutter platforms. This hardware is proprietary and there is only one authorized retailer -Dynalec Corporation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on 4 April 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
