IRS Riverbed Brand Name Maintenance/License Renewal/Support

PRE-SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE Riverbed Brand Name Maintenance/License Renewal/Support The objective of this requirement is to renew hardware and software maintenance and license for Riverbed Brand name products that were purchased in FY19-24 to support Cloud, Unified Access, Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Network Modernization and Refresh of End-of-Life Equipment and Segmentation (UA Seg) and Sustaining Infrastructure (SI) Refresh.

The Riverbed appliances are used to monitor the application and network performance applicable to critical production applications on the IRS Network, as well as all other applications on the IRS network including several in development performance testing. Enterprise Operations (EOps) Network Engineering must ensure that all the traffic is transported across the Enterprise Network in a manner that meets all applicable SLAs and network standards.

Without the renewal being procured, EOps Network Engineering’s capability and response to resolve application and/or network related issues affecting Affordable Care Act (ACA), Customer Account Data Engine (CADE2), Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), Return Review Program (RRP) and all other applications will require additional time and personnel resources to resolve.

RFP 205AE9-25-Q-00107 will be available on or about early August and will be distributed solely through NASA SEWP Group C small business set-aside as a total small business set-aside. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through NASA SEWP web portal. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring that site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.

The estimated closing date of 205AE9-25-Q-00107 will be on or about the end of August. No telephone requests, written requests, or questions for/about this solicitation will be accepted outside of NASA SEWP.
