Amendment 0001 is hereby issued on 7/29/2026. The purpose of this amendment is to:
Update estimated quantity from 156,000 lbs to 1,000,000 lbs. See updated Section B of RFQ Amendment 0001 and the updated Attachment 5 - Price List v1. Update clauses in Sections I and K due to estimated quantity increase. Update Attachment 2 - Performance Work Statement v1 Dated 7/28/2026. Add site visit for 4 August 2026 at 10:00 AM EST. See Attachment 6 - Site Visit Information.
Clause 52.237-1 and section 5.0 have, also, been added to Section L. Add Volume 5 Amendment Acknowledgement to Section L as a content of submission required with quote. Add Attachment 7 - Transportation & Incineration Questions and Answers. Extend quote due date to 7 August 2026 at 5:00 PM EST. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. This announcement constitutes a Notice of Proposed Contract Action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a non-personal services blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for the Transportation & Incineration of Disintegrated Non-Securities Waste Services at the District Currency Facility (DCF). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide transportation to a Waste-to-Energy facility for incineration of disintegrated non-securities waste. The period of performance shall be for five (5) years as follows:
Ordering Period 1 September 21, 2026 – September 20, 2027 Ordering Period 2 September 21, 2027 – September 20, 2028 Ordering Period 3 September 21, 2028 – September 20, 2029 Ordering Period 4 September 21, 2029 – September 20, 2030 Ordering Period 5 September 21, 2030 – September 20, 2031 This solicitation is issued as a total small business set aside. The applicable NAICS code is 562219 – Other Nonhazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal.
RFO Part 12 and electronic procedures shall be used for this solicitation and for awarding this BPA. Request a copy of the solicitation from the following website: www.sam.gov. Issue date of the solicitation is 17 July 2026. Response date for receipt of proposal is 31 July 2026. Anticipated award date is 21 September 2026.
