Description
As published on SAM.gov.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to CARITHERS-WALLACE-COURTENAY, LLC. The purchase of new furniture for the SJU Port Health Station to match existing Herman Miller and National furniture for the Quarantine Stations. CARITHERS-WALLACE-COURTENAY’s Cubicle Panels & Package Cubicle Systems are to be integrated directly with FF&E in the building.
Other similar Brand products would lack the connectors, attachments, and similar parts to allow new products to be connected properly to existing products in the building. By using similar brand products it would modified certain connectors to be interchangeable that would void existing warranties for future required modifications to exsiting units. This compatibility is essential as much of the FF&E is often moved around, re-organized and combined with similar FF&E throughout the their space.
