This is a public notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 – Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. The Library of Congress, Contracts and Grants Directorate, intends to award a sole-source firm fixed price contract to:

Image Science Associates LLC (6898 E TOWNLINE RD, WILLIAMSON, NY,14589, USA). The work to be performed under the contract will be performed at the following location: Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building, Digital Collections Management & Services Division 101 Independence Avenue, SE Washington, DC 20540 The period of performance of the intended contract shall run as follows:

08/05/2024- 08/04/2029. It is valued at an amount above the simplified acquisition threshold (defined as $250,000 and below). The work shall consist of the following:

The Library of Congress Discovery & Preservation Services Collections Digitization Division requires a Professional Still Image Consultant to perform still image research and provide guidance on developments in imaging science to support the Library’s digitization program. This announcement constitutes the only public notice. Proposals are not being requested from other parties and a written solicitation will not be issued. This public notice accomplishes the following:

Notice of the LC’s intent to sole source this requirement to the business listed herein; Synopsizing the requirements in accordance with the FAR; and A separate award notice and a separate J&A posting shall be performed at the time of award. The following attachments are included in this notice:
