This is a public notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 – Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions. The Library of Congress (LoC), Contracts and Grants Directorate (CGD), intends to award a sole-source firm-fixed-price contract to:

09/09/2024 – 09/08/2027 It is valued at an amount above the simplified acquisition threshold (defined as $250,000 and below). The work shall consist of the following:

The contractor shall provide the required Metis oversized scanner, related components, and required features. The contractor shall also provide the maintenance and warranty items listed in the requirements. This announcement constitutes the only public notice, proposals are not being requested from other parties and a written solicitation will not be issued. This public notice accomplishes the following:

Notice of the LoC’s intent to make a sole-source award for this requirement to the business listed herein; Synopsizing the requirements in accordance with the FAR; and As a result of this public posting, this shall be the only pre-award notice issued. A separate award notice and a separate J&A posting shall be performed at the time of award. The following attachments are included in this notice:
