Intent to Sole Source Urgent and Compelling of Fire Main Flooding at Naval Base San Diego

NAVFAC SW intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a Single Source. Award is anticipated to occur on or about July 2, 2024 to Teehee Engineering, Inc. The period of performance will be for approximately 90 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed.

As indicated in the attached and approved J&A for the Urgent and Compelling request, the Government has identified that Teehee Engineering, Inc. as capable of performing this unusual and compelling requirement. Teehee Engineering, Inc. has the capability to immediately respond to this need as they are currently mobilized on other Navy projects located in close proximity to the affected facility at Naval Base San Diego. The 90-day period of performance would provide time to perform the necessary work as stated within the Scope of Work. Construction services to be provided as follows:
