The United States Postal Service non-competitively awarded the purchase of three International Business Machines (IBM) Z16 Mainframe systems and FICON directors. The projected Period of Performance is six years (current end date 09/30/2030). The non-competitive rationale was based upon a combination of sole source and compelling business justification. The existing mainframe infrastructure within the Postal Service Eagan Data Center is standardized with IBM products.
