Special Notice: Air Uploader Software Licenses

Solicitation Title:

AIR Uploader Software Licenses Notice Type: Special Notice This notice is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) section 5.201 to notify the public of a proposed contract action. The North American Identification Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this procurement is 541519; Other Computer Related Services.

Introduction: The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) intends to contract by means of other than full and open competition and award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” Description: The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) will award a new contract for a period of one year.

Services to be completed under this contract include providing, and maintaining of the Air Uploader Enterprise License, as stated in the attached Statement of Work. The proposed Air Uploader Enterprise License are needed to support the USAGM’s cloud editing platform that enables users to perform remote production workflows virtually collaborate with different business units within VOA from anywhere.

The only vendor identified that can provide the desired services to USAGM’ is Support Partners (USA), Inc., located at 54 W. 40th Street, New York, NY 10018. This notice of intent is not a request for capability statements or competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the agency.

A determination by the Government to limit competition for this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
