The U.S. Embassy, London has a requirement for the maintenance and algae control for the Pond located at the US Embassy, London in accordance with the solicitation package attached. Only companies or individuals specializing in this field should apply. The Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.

We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

When responding to this solicitation, the Contractor must certify that: they are in compliance in all respects with all applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws, and agree that such certification is material to the government’s payment decisions for purposes of section 31 USC 3729(b)(4) (False Claims Act); and they do not operate any programs promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion that violate any applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws.

It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder.

The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site. The pre-proposal conference will be held on the 3rd of March 2025 at 10.30am (local time) at the US Embassy, 33 Nine Elms Lane, London SW11 7US. Please provide the names of the individuals who will attend the site visit on or before the 25th of February 2025 and ensure that they bring with them a form of ID, i.e. passport, on the day.

Please submit any questions you may have concerning the solicitation documents in writing to procurement_box5@state.gov by 24th of February 2025 at 17.00 pm. Responses will be sent in writing. Interested parties should download the RFQ package attached and provide their quotation to Procurement_Box5@state.gov, referencing I.D. #19UK5625Q00020 in the Subject Line, before 1700 GMT on 10th March 2025.
