U.S. Embassy in Panama City has a requirement to procure OFFICE FURNITURE. Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Site Visit: Bidders are encouraged to do a site visit on April 29, 2025 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. (Local Time). Interested offerors/quoters should email Roy Solis at least 24 hours prior, to INLPROCPANAMA@STATE.GOV indicating company name, complete name, and ID/Cedula number no later than April 28, 2025, 3:00 pm.
Attachment 1 – Layout: Please note that Attachment 1 is provided as a general guide to show available space. In addition to the site visit, the awarded contractor will do a final site visit to confirm all final measurements If there are any questions regarding this solicitation please email ROY SOLIS, INLPROCPANAMA@STATE.GOV no later than 3:00 PM, APRIL 30TH , 2025 (Local Time).
Offers are due by email to INLPROCPANAMA@STATE.GOV by 3:00 PM, MAY 8TH, 2025. (Local Time) All contractors must certify that they do not operate any programs promoting DEI that violate any applicable anti-discrimination laws and agree that such certification is material for purposes of the government’s payment decision and therefore subject to the False Claims Act. See 31 U.S.C.
3729(b)(4). all offerors must include fully filled and signed copy of the attached CERTIFICATION REGARDING COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE FEDERAL ANTI-DISCRIMINATION LAW. System updates may lag policy updates. The System for Award Management (SAM) may continue to require entities to complete representations based on provisions that are not included in agency solicitations.
Examples include 52.222-25, Affirmative Action Compliance, and paragraph (d) of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications—Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Contracting officers will not consider these representations when making award decisions or enforce requirements. Entities are not required to, nor are they able to, update their entity registration to remove these representations in SAM.
