Description

As published on SAM.gov.

The American Embassy Vientiane, Lao P.D.R. is seeking quotations from qualified vendors to supply Workshop Equipment and Tools for the U.S. Embassy Vientiane. You are invited to submit a quotation in response to this Request for Quotation (RFQ).

The RFQ consists of the following sections:

  1. Standard Form SF-18
  2. Schedule of Supplies and Pricing
  3. Technical Requirements and Instructions to Offerors

U.S. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires that contractors be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to being awarded a purchase order. Contractors who are not registered in SAM may not be awarded a purchase order. This requirement applies to all acquisitions for overseas vendors greater than $40,000 USD. Please register or verify your registration at: https://sam.gov/content/home

All quotations must comply with the requirements stated in the RFQ, including submission of required technical documentation such as manufacturer information, country of origin, certifications (CE or ISO where applicable), manuals, and warranty information.

Direct any questions regarding this solicitation to: VientianeProcurement@state.gov

The Embassy intends to award a purchase order resulting from this RFQ. You are encouraged to submit your most competitive quotation. You are further cautioned against any collusion with other potential offerors regarding pricing or bid submission. This RFQ does not obligate the U.S. Government to make any award, and the Embassy reserves the right to cancel this RFQ or any part of it at any time.

Please carefully review the RFQ documents. If you are interested, submit your quotation using the attached SF-18 and Schedule of Supplies.

Return the completed SF-18 and quotation package to the address indicated in block 5a of the SF-18 no later than:

11:59 PM Local Time, May 25, 2026.

Late submissions and oral quotations will not be accepted.
