The Embassy of the United States in Beijing China requires group health insurance services for employees and their dependents and group life/accidental death & dismemberment/partial & total disability insurance coverage for locally hired employees only, for the Embassy and four consulates. The anticipated performance period is for one base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
The Government may award a contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements
