Overhaul of the USEU Generator

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract The Department of State intends to award a sole source contract to ENERIA. This firm fixed-price contract will provide at total overhaul of the generator located in the USEU building required by the U.S. Embassy in Brussels.

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the government has determined that ENERIA is the only responsible source, as the manufacturer of the generator and the only company able to provide the total overhaul of the generator with adequate spare parts. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.

Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence of their ability to provide the required services within seven (7) days of this publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Authority: FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Companies should respond by written correspondence no later than, December 11, 2024.
