This solicitation covers the design of a steel tower with glass façade outside of a U.S. Government-owned building for an elevator with vestibule for accessibility from the main entrance to 2 upper floors, to meet the ABA (American Architectural Barriers Act) requirements.

The project involves - but is not limited to - the following : Workshop drawings, factory and assembly planning of a steel tower with glass façade for an elevator over 3 floors (height ca.10m), outside of the building, according to the American Architectural Barriers Act (ABA guidelines). Delivery and assembly of the steel tower with glass façade according to the American Architectural Barriers Act (ABA guidelines).

Coordinated design with the general planner’s design team and the elevator contractor: The elevator will be mounted inside the steel-glass tower over 3 floors. Coordinated cooperation on site with all project participants.

Temporary massive dust wall outdoor (weather protection) protection measures and materials, scaffolds, lifting platforms, material lifts, etc. Commissioning and Certificates for fire protection, safety glass qualification, building physics (thermal qualification, sun protection, sound-protection) All contractors must be registered n the SAM (System Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.

Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Estimate size of the project: estimated construction cost per range according to FAR 36-204: between $ 100,000 and $ 250,000.
