The media monitoring service for the Public Affairs Office at the Embassy of the United States of America in Canberra will monitor print, radio, television, online news, and social media based on fixed and evolving search terms, providing daily briefings with article summaries and links to full articles. The service includes breaking news alerts, access for at least 15 account holders to search, edit, compile, and distribute reports, and a range of report options with hyperlinked headlines and summaries.
Reports will be distributed to an unlimited number of users under the U.S. Government umbrella. Unlimited Internet monitoring, downloadable audio, video, and transcripts, and customized training for account holders are provided. Dedicated service agents will offer rapid response support aligned with Australian time zones. The service also includes an accountability mechanism for missed news stories and an up-to-date media contacts directory, focusing on Australian outlets with access to Pacific Islands media.
