The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Irving, TX 75063, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1to Commfit Holdings LLC for equipment, floor installation, equipment assembly, set-up the space and remove the old equipment.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Irving, TX 75063, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1to Commfit Holdings LLC for provide the equipment, install the flooring, assemble the equipment, set-up the space and remove the old equipment. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

The contracting officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available based on the Government’s needs. The DHS, ICE, OAQ, intends to award a non-competitive firm-fixed-price award for fitness equipment as required. The award will be a sole source procurement awarded in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT).

Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available based on market research conducted by the Government. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government Contracting Officer.
