Amendment 1 to this solicitation provides answers to vendor questions and pictures of the door to be repaired. *A sit visit has been scheduled for Thursday, June 13th at 10:00AM EST. Please contact Derek Vieira at derek.vieira@fema.dhs.gov to let him know you will be attending the site. This is to ensure your name is on the list to access the site. Questions and Answers Would a warranty be required for the services provided, and if so, could you provide any specific requirements? No warrantee required.
How many garage doors need to be repaired? 1 Door What are the sizes of these door(s)? 24’x16’ Would you be open to a total door(s) replacement if need be? No, the door only needs the springs and the drive shaft (Shaft on Hand) replaced. Please see the Statement of Work and RFQ attached to this solicitation. Please provide quotes by noon ET on 06/14/2024 to abigail.atkinson@associates.fema.dhs.gov.
Scope of Work The contractor will remove solid steel shaft, Springs and bearings on a commercial overhead garage door and replace them with OEM or equivalent. In addition, make all necessary adjustments. The Overhead door failed due to age and was found that several parts were broken, worn and needed to be replaced. Contractor will be allowed to enter the building for 1 day to complete the replacement of the door parts. Additional time will be provided if additional parts need replacement. Contractor will do a thorough cleaning of the area, haul-off their trash, old and new excess materials dispose of properly per local, state, and federal regulations.
