The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Field Acquisition Office (FAO), intends to make a single award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm-fixed prices for Solid Waste Removal Services as prescribed below for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), La Tuna, located in Anthony, TX. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, with four (4) one-year option periods.
The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, (Size Standard of $47 Million). General Information regarding the BOP is located at www.bop.gov. The contractor shall provide solid waste removal services according to the following schedule:
Tuesday: Pickup of one (1) 34-yard compactor and one (1) 30-yard open-top roll-off dumpster.
Thursday: Pickup of two (2) 30-yard open-top roll-off dumpsters. Every other Thursday: Pickup of one (1) 34-yard compactor and one (1) 30-yard open-top roll-off dumpster. The contractor will be fully responsible for the disposal of the materials in a lawful and proper manner. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
