The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is issuing solicitation 15BFA025B00000018 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Repair Tower Roofs at the Federal Correctional Complex (FCC Tucson), located in Tucson, Arizona. FCC Tucson is a federal correctional facility located at 9300 S. Wilmot Rd. Tucson, Arizona 85756. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following:

a. Coordinate all safety regulations with FCC Tucson b. Set up all safety according to OSHA standards c. Tear off 3 tower roofs equaling approximately 1875 SF down to the 20 ga. B decking. d. Mechanically fasten 1 layer of 2” Polyiso insulation, tapered insulation and cover board. e. Install Tremco, BURmastic Composite Ply HT in POWERply Endure BIO Adhesive per manufacturer requirements. f. Install Tremco Permafab reinforcing fabric in AlphaGuard PUMA Base Coat @ the rate of 2.5 ga.

Per sq. per manufacture requirements. g. Install Tremco AlphaGuard PUMA base coat @ the rate of 2.5 ga. Per sq. over reinforcing fabric per manufacture requirements. h. Install Tremco, AlphaGuard PUMA Topcoat over base coat @ the rate of 2 ga.

Per sq. per manufacture requirements. i. Install all wood nailers, siding closure and edge metal. j. Drill through the face of newly installed metal edge with self-tapping metal screws to increase wind uplift strength. k. Drill through the face of the already existing drip edge face and secure the roofing termination to the structural perimeter support member on towers where roof is not being replaced. l. Clean up all debris removed from towers prior to install of new Tremco roof system. m. Clean up and remove all debris used at the end of each day and at the end of the project n. Remove any unused materials as we cannot store them at the institution See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting for the complete requirements of the work.

The performance period for the project will be 364 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238160 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $100,000 and $250,000.

It merely conveys that the estimate/budget lies somewhere within that range.) The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Contract Opportunity website at https://www.sam.gov.
