THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for X- Ray Machine at the Federal Correctional Institution Loretta, PA located in Loretto, PA. All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations.
The contractors will normally work Monday through Friday (except Federal holidays), normally between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch period during the duration of the un-installation of the current machine, removal of the current machine and installation of the new x ray machine. Occasionally, Contractor may be requested to work a special schedule when needed to meet installation deadlines or delivery dates.
The actual hours of work will be approved and determined by the Health Services Administrator. See attached sample Statement of work along with the specification of the X-Ray Machine. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement.
