FCI La Tuna- Install Chilled Water- Invitation for Bid

Amendment 00001- The Invitation for Bid is hereby cancelled. Solicitation The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is issuing solicitation 15BFA024B00000007 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Install Chilled Water at the Federal Prison Institution (FCI LA TUNA), located in Anthony, Texas. FCI LA TUNA is a federal correctional facility located at 8500 Doniphan Dr. Anthony, TX 79821. The project consists of the following:

Replacement of existing DX and evaporative cooling equipment with a new chilled water cooling and hot water heating system. This includes the demolition of all DX-Type system, evaporative cooling systems, mini-split systems and associated refrigerant piping and steam piping unless stated otherwise. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting for the complete requirements of the work.

The performance period for the project will be 580 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project lies between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
