The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn, NY, is soliciting a contract for the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair the Fire Alarm located at 80 29th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232. MDC Brooklyn is a 14-story, high-rise federal correctional facility. All work described in the attached documents and all work necessary to complete the work as described or shown is to be executed in a thoroughly substantial manner. All work shall be done by persons thoroughly experienced in their particular trade or craft.

The contractor is responsible to provide all equipment, labor and duties outlined in the the Statement of Work attached to this solicitation. All necessary work will be conducted during normal business hours 6:30 A,M,-3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and federal holidays.

Please submit your quotes by: February 23, 2023 at 10:00 AM to b2rodriguez@bop.gov. Be sure to specify the solicitation number in the subject portion of the email. All vendors must complete and comply with the following:

1. Complete and submit the contractor's information sheet.

2. Review the (SOW) Statement of Work sheet.

3. Submit their quote.

4. Be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. 5. Review and comply with the attached Service Contract Act WD #2015-4187 for appropriate wage determinations. A site visit is scheduled for: February 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM. The address is 80 29th street Brooklyn, NY 11232. Contractors are not required to attend the site visit but are recommended to do so. Contractors attending the site visit must fill out the Criminal History Check form attachment and submit to jmaffeo@bop.gov by February 13, 2:00 pm.

Review the Request for Information attachment after the site visit. Please submit your quotes to b2odriguez@bop.gov by Friday February 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Be sure to specify the solicitation number in the subject portion of the email. Evaluation factors are price and past performance. The government will award to the responsible contractor whose quote is conforming to the solicitation.
