MDC Guaynabo Elevator Maintenance and Repair Service Synopsis Description:

Added: Jan 23, 2024 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC Guaynabo, Puerto Rico), intends to issue solicitation.

Address: 652 Carretera 28, Guaynabo PR 00965-5700 15B30624Q00000004 for the provision of Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) at Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price.

Prior Incumbent was Deya Elevators Contract 15B30618D00000053 for Sum Total: $91,500.00 ended on September 30, 2023. Prior service contract included ADA chairs inside each Unit Module, however this service will be administered in a different procurement. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year and four option years.

All scheduled work shall be performed during the core operating hours of 6:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays, unless mutually scheduled in advance with the Facility Manager and/or the COR. The contractor shall respond to service calls 7 days per week, 24 hours per day as a part of this contract. Services Calls made after the core operating hours shall be considered After Hours Emergency Call-Back Service and shall be billed at the hourly rate specified in the contract.

Basic Elevator Maintenance service for is to be performed on four (4) Elevators per month annually. See the attached Statement of Work for more details. The solicitation will be available on or about January 23, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.sam.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
