Q/A Q-specifications say aluminum cast, would machined aluminum be acceptable? A- Yes, machined aluminum would be acceptable. Q- Just to be clear the whole carriage should be made of aluminum and steel/iron and not any type of wood? A- The main frame of the carriage (trail, stock, cheek) should be aluminum. The wheels and spokes (wood), wheel fellows (steel/iron), and cheeks, elevating screw, cap screws, and other small parts (iron)
