1. 2. Processing Procedures: A/E shall thoroughly review construction documents and applicable standards and codes then recommend to the Government if approves, approves with notations, or disapproves submittals. Reviews shall be completed with recommended actions indicated and returned and received by the COR within 12 calendar days of receipt of such submittals. Processing time shall begin upon receiving a submittal from the Government and end at the return of the fully processed submittal to the COR.
3. Approval Procedures: Each submittal shall be verified for conformance to the Construction Documents. Corrections to the submittal shall be noted in red.
4. Estimating Time for Submittal Review: Refer to the Submittal List and Review Estimate template for information on specific submittals to be reviewed by the A/E. Use this template to establish a basis for estimating the time required to complete reviews. A/E is responsible for reviewing action submittals, not informational submittals. Failure by A/E to complete the Submittal List and Review Estimate template during design shall not relieve the A/E of responsibility to provide review of contract specified action submittals at no additional cost to the Government above task order price.

2. Processing Procedures: A/E shall review and respond to construction originated RFIs. Reviews shall be completed and responses posted to the NPS project management and communication software within 7calendar days of receiving RFIs. (Highest priority RFIs may require shorter turnaround time.) Processing time shall begin upon receiving RFI from the Government and end at the return of the fully processed RFI to the Government.
3. Clarifying RFIs: RFIs arising from insufficient clarity of construction documents shall be responded to by A/E at no cost to the Government.
