This Government's requirement will include lotic/aquatic monitoring surveys using the BLMs Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring (AIM) protocols. Collecting monitoring data on BLM managed surface in the state of Wyoming is required to support documentation of the effectiveness of decisions established in BLM Resource Management Plans, treatment effectiveness, habitat evaluations, among other uses.

The information contained here and in the attached Scope of Work, reflects the Government's anticipated requirements as of date of this RFI. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) manages 3,400 miles of stream within the state of Wyoming. The BLM is mandated to conduct land health monitoring to document effectiveness of decisions established in Resource Management Plans, to determine treatment effectiveness, for habitat evaluation, among other applications.

The Assessment, Inventory and Monitoring (AIM) strategy is one of the approved monitoring strategies for land health monitoring. This scope of work is for Lotic AIM data collection at 96 reaches in the 2025 field season, with a potential for four options years (2026-2029) with varying collection effort.
