The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Mother Lode Field Office has a requirement for Hazard Tree Mitigation, Forest Health Thinning, and Fuels Reduction Support Services, in accordance with the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140L1225Q0011 and attachments. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03. A fixed price contract will be awarded using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. A fixed price contract will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Offeror must be registered in the SAM.gov before providing a quote. If the offeror is not registered in SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at: www.sam.gov. The Government will conduct this procurement in accordance with FAR 12.6 & 13.5 Simplified Procedures.
Site Visit: A site visit will be held on April 21st, 2024 at 10:30 AM P.D.T.
Special Instructions: BLM Mother Lode Field Office staff will be present at the project site on 21st April 2025, at 10:30 am for an on-site review of the project area and specifications. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend this site visit.
Location: The meeting will start at Safeway Parking lot 867 Sutton Way. Grass Valley, CA 95945. From there the BLM Forester will lead the group to the site. Parking is limited on site and is recommended to have high clearance vehicles and not park blocking private driveways. BLM staff will begin the site visit at 10:30 and leave the initial meeting point no later than 11:00 am Questions must be submitted via e-mail to klerum@blm.gov no later than close of business 04/23/2025, 6:00 PM P.D.T. Quotations must be submitted via e-mail to klerum@blm.gov no later than close of business 05/07/2025, 6:00 PM P.D.T.
