BIRD TRANSMITTERS REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03, effective 01/17/2025. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Business.

DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey - Western Ecological Research Center, Dixon Field Station, requires Bird Transmitter as described in the attached Salient Characteristics.

Proposals must be submitted FOB Destination shipping to Dixon, CA 95620. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and associated size standard 600 employees applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code 7G22, IT and Telecom-Network: Satellite and RF Communication All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 04/01/2025 at 0600 PDT.

Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 04/02/2025 at 0600 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered.

Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Salient Characteristics (see Attachment). This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary, and is to include the country of manufacture.
