VETERINARY SERVICES FOR AN IACUC COMMITTEE REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-05, effective 05/22/2024. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses.

DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Western Fisheries Research Center in Seattle, WA, requires Veterinary Services to serve on an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) as described in the attached Statement of Work. The USGS requires a base year four options. SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS All services will be performed at the vendor facility and may include at least one site visit to a USGS facility or in the field.

RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541940 (Veterinary Services) and associated size standard of $10.0 million applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code R416 (Support - Professional: Veterinary/Animal Care). Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov.

All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 08/06/2024 at 0600 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the services being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors (see Attachment).
