CUSTOM 25' ALUMINUM SINGLE ENGINE JET BOAT AND TRAILER REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-04, effective 05/01/2024.

This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey - Clarkston Field Station, WA, requires a Custom 25' Aluminum Single Engine Jet Boat and Trailer as described in the attached salient characteristics. Final product will be picked up by USGS personnel from the vendor facility.

RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336612, Boat Building, and associated size standard 1,000 employees applies to this announcement, along with Product Service Code 1940, Small Craft. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov.

All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 05/29/2024 at 0700 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Salient Characteristics (see Attachment).
