INFRASOUND WIND SCREENS REQUEST FOR QUOTE INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-02, effective 01/22/2024. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Volcano Science Center in Vancouver WA, requires an Octagon Infrasound Wind Screen as described in the attached salient characteristics. The equipment will be shipped (FOB Destination) to:

All questions must be sent directly to rlujan@usgs.gov by 02/21/2024 at 1200 hrs central time.

Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contract Specialist at rlujan@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 02/26/2024 at 0800 hrs central time. Proposals submitted by hardcopy, or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered.

Offerors are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Salient Characteristics (see Attachment). This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary, and is to include the country of manufacture and shipping costs (FOB Destination).
