Amendment 0004 provides response to question received via email.

Question: Due to the unknown of the new load line survey inspection requirement, we would like to propose the work listed on Work Item 6.3 should be performed as stated, but any additional work that is required above that for the issuance of a new load line certificate be handled under a CFR. The following is the new proposed changes: (Changes are shown in parenthesis).

6.3 ABS Survey - Load Line: The Contractor shall perform the following tasks in support of the vessel¿s load line special survey. All items shall be completed and/or tested to the satisfaction of the ABS Surveyor. The Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling and coordinating with the ABS Surveyor for the inspections and (Contractor will submit a CFR) for any additional tasking that the ABS Surveyor determines is necessary for the (load line survey).

Answer: The Government agrees to this change.
