Security Fence for Parking Lot

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Lower Mississippi Gulf Water Science Center has a requirement to install fencing to secure a parking area at its facility located in Jackson, MS. The project shall be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000 Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0124Q0270 will be issued on or about 8/13/2024 with written quotes due on or about 8/30/2024.

CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND A SITE VISIT. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice MUST be given. The contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L in the Request for Quote (RFQ). This acquisition is total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code is 238990. The size standard is $19.0 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 9/14/2024. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract.
