Procure, Replace, and Install Two (2) HVAC Systems

The Ouray National Fish Hatchery Grand Valley Unit in Grand Junction, Colorado, requires professional services to procure, remove, replace, and install two HVAC systems with integrated dehumidification. Each system must operate independently and, when feasible, provide redundancy to maintain environmental control in the event of a system failure. The hatchery has two distinct Recirculating Aquaculture Systems, Hatchery 1 and Hatchery 2, each with its own HVAC system.

The existing HVAC and dehumidification units are approximately 15 years old, utilize discontinued refrigerant, are undersized for current operational demands, and are experiencing increasing mechanical failures. Reliable temperature and humidity control is essential to hatchery operations and the propagation of endangered fish species; therefore, replacement of these systems is necessary to ensure continued mission support, operational stability, and facility reliability.
