Orion Systems Inc Touchscreen Comm Panel

SOLE SOURCE/NOTICE OF INTENT The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA 93437, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to ORION SYSTEMS INC. The action will be executed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. See attached redacted Sole Source Justification for additional details. The requirement is to provide the following:

CLIN 0001: One (1) new Orion Systems Inc touchscreen comm panel, part number OS28-0113-A1. Includes installation in new console. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote or proposal. However, interested parties may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill the requirement via email to tyler.troge.2@spaceforce.mil with a copy to andrew.gabel@spaceforce.mil no later than 30 May 2024 at 11:30AM Pacific Time.

Any costs incurred in submitting a capabilities statement will not reimbursed by the Government. Additionally, the information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
