Trash and Recycling Removal Services

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires trash removal and recycling services for base year plus four option years, as specified in the solicitation and statement of work. Period of Performance (base plus (4) Option Years): 15 February 2024 through 14 February 2029. INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE.

The proposed solicitation is issued as a small business set aside. The NAICS code is 562111 with a size standard of $47.0M. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-06, effective June 2, 2023. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the best value considering past performance and price.

RFQ is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts, 12, 13 and 15 via the Federal Contracts Opportunities via SAM.gov website https://sam.gov/content/home. The solicitation number is 1333MF24Q0007? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the SAM Federal Contract Opportunities site all subsequent amendments.

The anticipated award date will be on or about February 8, 2024. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13 (Commercial Acquisition) and FAR Part 15 (Contract Negotiation)). All responsible small business concerns/sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.

Firms offering a response to this notice shall ensure that they are registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), https://sam.gov/content/home , prior to submission of proposals. All vendors doing business with the Government are required to be registered and active with the SAM. Award will not be issued to vendors not actively registered within SAM.
