NOAA/NESDIS/FCDAS Elevator Maintenance

INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Subpart 13.106 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) No. 1332KP24Q0069, which will result in an award for the Annual Elevator Maintenance Plan for NOAA’s Fairbanks Command and Data Acquisition Station (FCDAS). The RFQ clauses and provisions are those in effect thru Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05. This acquisition is being solicited as unrestricted. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 811310. The Government anticipates a Firm, Fixed Price (FFP) contract.

Only one award will be issued as a result of this solicitation via issuance of simplified acquisition/commercial award. The specific requirements are described in the Statement of Need (SON) in Section III of the attached RFQ. The Quoter shall review the Quote Submittal Instructions in Section XII for when preparing their quote. Be advised that this RFQ does not commit the Government to pay any cost for the preparation and submission of a quote.

In addition, the Contracting Officer is the only individual who can legally obligate the Government to the expenditure of appropriated funds in connection with this procurement.

Questions shall be received no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Wednesday, July 10, 2024. All questions or comments submitted shall include the solicitation number in the subject line. The Government will attempt, but does not guarantee, that it will answer questions submitted after the time and date specified above.

Government responses will be provided, without identification of the questioner, via formal amendment to the RFP. Phone inquiries are not permitted. The quote shall be submitted no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Monday, July 22, 2024 via email to callie.zuppas@noaa.gov, nathan.r.minton@noaa.gov and andrea.chiodi@noaa.gov.
