Auke Bay Laboratories aquatic research laboratory facilities staff are currently seeking marine systems engineering consultant services to develop and evaluate options for improving lab capabilities for studies of aquatic organisms, mainly juvenile marine fish, freshwater- and marine-stage salmon, and shellfish at the Ted Stevens Marine Research Institute (TSMRI) and the Little Port Walter Research Station located in Southeast Alaska.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a total small business set-aside.
