The United States Department of the Naval Medical Research Command (NMRC) proposes to enter into a contract with Meso Scale Discovery, LLC, Rockville, Maryland, on a basis of other than full and open competition. This requirement is for authorized approved vendors to perform services for brand name equipment. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals however If interested, the Government shall consider capability statements.
The requirement is for a service contract for the Neurotrauma Department's MESO QuickPlex® SQ 120 immunoassay system that processes biological samples so that they can assess protein levels in a variety of tissue samples. The specific and efficient processing of samples is a requirement for ensuring consistent and accurate data analysis to ensure the best possible research quality. Specifically, the following services are needed:
1. MesoAdvantage Plan - Academic - SQ120MM / Catalog #:SAAAA-1 / QTY: 1 YR.
2. Additional Preventative Maintenance Service-QuickPlex / Catalog #: SA3XA-1 / QTY: 1 EA. The NAICS code for this action is 325413. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in Systems for Award Management.
