12FPC324Q0020 Synopsis: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division is issuing this Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to paint the office building exterior at the Plant Materials Center Corvallis, Benton County, OR.

Work consists of power washing, and or scrubbing and brushing, to remove anything that would cause the paint to not adhere properly, painting of the exterior surface, and site cleanup. See attached Scope of Work for greater detail and pictures. This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside. To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov.

A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 15 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238320, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $19M. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is below $25,000.
