1. Adds language to p. 2, section (vi) Description of Requirement of 1284LM25Q0011 AMD 0001.docx, which allows for alternate palliative products.

2. Removes clauses (p. 12) and adds Class Deviations (pp. 9, 10 & 13) from 1284LM25Q0011 AMD 0001.docx per Executive Orders 14173, 14168 and Section 2 of Executive Order 14148 (which revoked Executive Order 14057 and Section 2 of Executive Order 14208). Changes are highlighted in green. Please sign and return "SF-30 AMD 0001.pdf" with your offer to acknowledge Amendment 0001. This project is focused on blading and applying a dust palliative to the road at the West Glacier River access site in West Glacier, MT.

Dust abatement will occur at the site each year between June 1 and July 15 once the need has been determined. Dust abatement is an important service provided at West Glacier River access site as it is the most heavily used river access site on the North and Middle Forks of the Flathead. Both commercial river outfitters and private users regularly use this site from June to September.

It is also located adjacent to a residential community; with the high vehicle use, dust becomes a prevalent nuisance to both users and neighbors. See Attachments 2 and 3 for technical specifications for dust abatement: FP-14 Dust Palliative Mixtures (green highlight) and FP-14 Dust Palliative Spec. The application area will include both parking areas, the loop road, and the area leading to the boat ramp at West Glacier. Work to be included is blading the road prior to application of the dust palliative.

The road is approximately 0.2 miles long and typically has required ~7 tons of dust palliative. A map of the access site and its location is also provided (Attachment 1). Please see attachment 1284LM25Q0011.docx for submittal instructions. Questions regarding this solicitation are due no later than March 21, 2025, COB to joanne.meiers@usda.gov.
