June 20, 2024 POC: Eric Todd Asper, Eric.Asper@usda.gov Tracy Doud, Tracy.Doud@usda.gov Notice of Intent – Sole Source The USDA Forest Service, Jacobs Creek Job Corps, intends to raise the contract ceiling on a single award commercial indefinite delivery, indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Sure Drain. The contract is for hazardous wastewater hauling services at Jacobs Creek Job Corps Center located in Bristol, TN.

The original contract award was issued as a competitive single award, IDIQ firm-fixed price contract. This sole source action is being accomplished in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-7(a)(2). The North America Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 562112 and the size standard is $47.0M. The Government believes that Sure Drain is the only known source that can and will satisfy the requirement for wastewater hauling services at Jacobs Creek Job Corps center.

This is not a request for competitive quotes, but serves as a procurement notice to fulfill public posting requirements in accordance with FAR 5.2.

Responsible firms believing they can provide the required items are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contract Specialist referencing contract #1282A723D0008; however, they must provide supporting evidence they can provide the wastewater hauling services with the technical specifications listed in the attached statement of work (SOW). All responses will be fully considered.

If no affirmative responses are received by June 20, 2024, at 5:00 PM EST to the effect that a comparable source exists, a change order will be executed with Sure Drain for the requirements stated here. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice.
