This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued -This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) 127EAU24Q0112 NAICS 33599 All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing 600, PSC .6140 -BATTERIES, RECHARGEABLE Open 08-13-2024 Closes 08-20-2024 2200 ET -This will be a Firm-Fixed-Price contract/purchase order. -This procurement is a Small Business set aside only. -Vendors will have an active System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov account at the time of award and provide the sam.gov Unique Identity Identifier (UEI) in their responses. -Payment will be made utilizing the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) https://www.ipp.for.fiscal.treasury.gov/ -Vendors responding to this solicitation shall submit their quote in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), FAR 52.212-1.Pursuant to FAR 52.212-2, the criteria for evaluations are (1)Technical Capability (3) Price -The basis for award is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). -A complete package will contain the following:

Amendment was created to update the Schedule of Items and verbiage in the Statement of work about the disposal of the 16 each 6-volt 380 a.h batteries. Updated SOI and Amendment have been attached.

No need to remove/dispose/recycle the 16 each 6-volt 380 a.h. deep cycle batteries. These 16 batteries will stay with the Forest Service who will store them in their facility.
