Greenfeed Service Contract

Sources Sought Notification This is a Sources Sought Announcement issued by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for informational and planning purposes only. This is NOT a solicitation, nor is it an announcement for a forthcoming solicitation. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred in providing a response.

The purpose is to conduct market research to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources and to determine the capability of Small Business and/or Large Business companies to provide the supplies/services described below. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice will be used by the Government to make an appropriate acquisition decision. Department of Agriculture requests responses from ALL socioeconomic categories in order to gain a more complete understanding of the market for these products and service.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Environmentally Integrated Dairy Management Research Unit (EIDMRU) in Marshfield Wisconsin has a need for a Base plus 4 Service Contract for the existing C-Lock Greenfeed Systems. Contractors will provide service and upkeep of seven Greenfeed instruments.

The NAICS code for the expected acquisition is 333111 (Farm Machinery And Equipment Manufacturing), with a Size Standard of 1,250 Employees and the PSC Code is 6640. Submission Instructions: Interested vendors are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought notification by 2:00 p.m. CT on May 24, 2024, to the attention of Debora Wells, Contracts Specialist, at debora.wells@usda.gov . All questions are asked to be submitted in writing and will be addressed accordingly.

Responses should be no more than 10 pages and include the following information: 1. Complete and return the 1 page Supporting Information form 2. Contact Name, e-mail address and phone number; 3. A statement of interest in any forthcoming acquisition. 4. A statement of capability to perform details of the requirement to include all requirements outlined in SOW. Interested vendors are instructed to provide only the data requested.

No proprietary classified confidential or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any nonproprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s).
