Fractionating Aspirator Lab Tester

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The USDA/ARS intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), single source for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, to:

Seedburo Equipment Company LLC 2293 S MT PROSPECT RD DES PLAINES, IL 60018 Description of Requirement: The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following in accordance with the Specification Document:

1) Electric motors for fan and feed roll; 110V, 60 Hz.

2) Variable frequency drive (VFD) with keypad and digital display for motors.

3) Feed hopper.

4) Feed valve control.

5) Air valve control with pointer.

6) Adjustable duct control.

7) Receivers for four fractions.

8) Transparent front cover plate.

9) Dust bag/collector at air discharge. The NAICS code for the expected acquisition is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing), with a Size Standard of 1,000 Employees and the PSC Code is 6640. NO solicitation or solicitation package will be issued. The notice of this intent is not a request for competitive quotes: however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement.

All information received by 5:00 PM Eastern Time April 29, 2024 will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Joel Maas at joel.maas@usda.gov. The e-mail subject line shall state: Fractionating Aspirator Lab Tester-Notice of Intent to Sole Source.
