Set Aside Details: The designated industry group for this acquisition is NAICS code 541330/ENGINEERING SERVICES which has a size standard of $25.5 million.

Description of Work: The A&E firm must be a licensed A&E firm in the State of Mississippi. Inspect the dam in accordance with Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) requirements for formal inspection. Lead dam inspector must be registered in the State of Mississippi as a Professional Engineer. Inspection shall include the dam, riser, outlet conduit, outlet channel to woods line, auxiliary spillway, and grade control structure.

Prior to the inspection, a review of all pertinent documents shall be conducted, particularly past inspections. A formal inspection report shall be prepared using current MDEQ forms located at https://www.mdeq.ms.gov/water/damsafety/. The report shall include photographs, drawings and analyses to sufficiently describe any findings. Additionally, the “O&M Dam Inspection Report Template” shall be filled out for Forest Service data purposes.

Site Location: This project will include the formal inspection of high hazard classified Okhissa Dam, located three miles south of Bude (FRANKLIN COUNTY), Mississippi, on the Homochitto National Forest.
